EMR EHR Template Development - Consulting

Written by Jason Pedersen

Nextgen Template ScreenshotCustomizing Your NextGen® Templates: What We Do

With our team of Experts, your practice is not limited by pre-made templates. EMR Template Experts specializes in modifying all existing NextGen® KBM templates with seamless efficiency. However, EMR Template Experts can help you take it one step further. NextGen®'s pre-made templates are only the beginning of what NextGen® Electronic Medical Record software can offer your medical practice. Having the ability to customize and create new templates makes your NextGen® Electronic Medical Record (EMR) environment a source of limitless possibility, and truly puts the control in users' hands. EMR Template Experts not only specializes in modifying existing templates, but also specializes in creating custom templates to fit the need of any practice, even if your specific practice or field has no current pre-made templates currently available.

SQL Programming and NextGen® Template Editor - How We Do It

By simply using NextGen®'s template editor ability to modify templates, a user is only scratching the surface of the possibilities that the NextGen® EMR KBM software offers. With NextGen®'s latest KBM version 7.6 release, NextGen® has begun to move away from coding every trigger (a very inefficient way of programming) to stored procedures and database functions to accomplish complex tasks and new functionality that has never existed before. SQL stored procedures are a key tool when designing and modifying clean, efficient templates. When using a stored procedure, a user has the ability to access and manipulate data easier and faster than through the template editor. Using stored procedures gives access to tables in the SQL database that the NextGen® template editor simply doesn't have the ability to access. Stored procedures save time and unnecessary work for both the end user and the programmer, and when used in conjunction with the NextGen® template editor and the SQL stored procedures, reduce the need for hand-coding each specific trigger (which would leave room for many little mistakes, quirks, and errors), resulting in efficient, simple, and straightforward templates that work for you. Using our expert consultants and taking advantage of EMR Template Experts' intricate knowledge of the NextGen® EMR software and SQL database, you can rest assured that our experts will create customized templates and modifications that are compatible with all existing tables and able to evolve with upgrades and new versions.

Compatability with NextGen® EMR KBM versions - Why It's Important To You

EMR Template Experts are here to be a part of your team, with NextGen® expert consultants assigned to meet your individual EMR needs as you implement new and upcoming NextGen® EMR Knowledge Base Model (KBM) versions. The NextGen® Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software SQL database is intricate and complicated, making data-entry mistakes a common problem with EMR users when customizing and changing templates. Using our Expert consultants and taking advantage of EMR Template Experts' intricate knowledge of the NextGen® EMR software and SQL database, you can rest assured that our Experts will create customized templates and modifications that are compatible with all existing tables and able to evolve with upgrades and new versions. NextGen® EMR software's KBM (Knowledge Base Model) is constantly evolving and improving, with new versions, new KBM templates and modifications, new functionalities, and new ways to accomplish critical tasks. With constant evolution, it is vital to have consultants on your team with an array of experience with KBM template modifications and areas of expertise to meet the specific needs of each user. In addition, it is crucial to have consultants who will ensure those EMR template modifications will be compatible with upcoming NextGen® EMR KBM releases.
